The online age is destrying/ enhancing the music industry

I think that the online age is both enhancing and destroying the music industry. Thanks to online downloading this means more people are able to access music at their will and at a reasonable price. This means more people will be able to hear a band so they may go and buy tickets to one of their gigs as a result. However there are disadvantages to the online age sites such as lime wire and frostwire mean that people don’t have to pay for the music they download but it means that the artist and record company loose out on income. Stricter measure and new programmes are being developed to help combat this and ensure that the online age does enhance the music industry.
